We all need to be complimented and praised in one way or another. We are constantly seeking somekind of praise in order to feel accepted and to have our actions recognized. My work is based on my reflections and research on this need to be praised and accepted and how we go about fulfilling it. In the work I look at both the humblness of the praise aswell as the vanity of it. The work is a small white box meant for the viewer to step onto. When stepped on an audio recording of clapping starts inside the box. When the he steppes of the box the clapping stops.
